Bob Saget haunts your dreams in this chilling Full House faux trailer

The premise of Full House was always a little suspect. Why would two single men agree to join a recently widowed father in raising three young daughters? Perhaps, as this ominous trailer for “Full House” implies, it’s because these men can never leave. In this new context, Bob Saget’s Danny Tanner is a Jack Torrance-like figure (peppered with some unsettling Warren Jeffs)—obsessive, controlling, and manic.  As is the case with many of these faux trailers, the music does a lot of the heavy lifting to carry the premise, but credit should also go to Saget’s frequent, terrifying rictus. The trailer also functions as a direct, if unintentional, counterpoint to the previous, ennui-heavy Full House Without Michelle.
