Bob's Burgers lives to see a fourth season

An Emmy nomination and a talking Jon Hamm toilet—or possibly just one of those—was all it took to convince Fox that Bob's Burgers is worth keeping around, with the network renewing the show today for a full, 22-episode fourth season. It's the first new, non-Seth MacFarlane show to be introduced to and survive Fox's Animation Domination since that term was created, and it stands proudly astride the cartoon corpses of such onetime contenders as Allen Gregory and Napoleon Dynamite. One might say that Fox should get around to burying those cartoon corpses, because we're trying to have a civilization here, and leaving corpses lying around is unsanitary and what wild animals do. But that's Fox for you: Laughing at talking toilets while the dead rot in the streets.
