Bob's Burgers movie to let you come meat the family in 2020
Nearly two years after the project was first announced, we finally have an official release date for the Bob’s Burgers movie… and it happens to be the exact release date that was floated back in 2017. As reported by IndieWire, Fox has confirmed that the Bob’s Burgers movie will indeed be in theaters on July 17, 2020, as the prophecy foretold, and it will feature all of the voice actors you’d expect to hear—so, H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal, and, of course, Larry Murphy (for all you Teddy-Heads out there).
That’s pretty much all we know, but series creator Loren Bouchard has occasionally teased on social media that certain longstanding mysteries will be addressed in the movie, like the origin of Louise’s rabbit ears and why the kids don’t ever hear about Bob’s mother. We’d also like to know what happened to Pocket-Sized Rudy, since we only ever see Regular-Sized Rudy and his name doesn’t make any sense without Pocket-Sized Rudy showing up from time to time. Either way, Regular-Sized Rudy is a great character and he should be the primary focus of this movie.
