Bon Iver announces 22, A Million tour
Bon Iver just released its touring schedule for early 2017, dates that singer-songwriter Justin Vernon apparently trusted fans to understand without the need of a two-hour explanatory press conference. And you have to admit, that feels empowering. Anyway, it looks like the Wisconsin-based band will be spending much of the new year in Europe. Starting off big with an arena show in Paris on January 22, Bon Iver will then zig-zag around Europe for a few weeks before landing in the U.K. for a few dates in mid-February. The list of shows also includes the two-day Michelberger Music event in Berlin at the start of October, and some West Coast U.S. shows later that month.
The indie-folk band will be touring in support of its upcoming third studio album 22, A Million, scheduled for drop on September 30. This will mark its first new release since 2011’s acclaimed Bon Iver, Bon Iver.
