Just a quick note: I have not abandoned my semi-regular Box Of Paperbacks Book Club column. (Its dozens of readers should be happy to hear that.) There have just been a few delays. What kind? Glad you asked. First, I took a vacation. Then I got sidetracked reading other things. Factor in the need to read a few other things beyond dusty paperbacks and you've got a perfect storm for delays. But this is the main reason: I hit another Lensman novel. I've got three more of those in the box and, reading this first one, I can't imagine doing posts on all of them. Which isn't to say I'm not going to read them all. I keep my promises. I've just decided to read them all at once and cover them in one post.
