Boys, blood, and brooms abound in new Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina trailer
Now that it’s settled that lawsuit with the, um, Satanic Temple, Netflix’s Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina is ready to return for the back half of its debut season. Furthermore, Indiewire reports that the teen horror drama will cap off this latest batch of episodes with a musical number, one we assume will be laden with goat screams and audial spurts of blood.
“We have an amazing musical number in the finale,” creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said after a recent screening of the first episode at Los Angeles’ Pacific Design Center. “It’s been something we’ve been wanting to do since the beginning. One of the last days of shooting of the season right before we broke in December, I went up to Vancouver the day they were doing this big number. It was the proudest I’d ever been of a cast and a crew. They came together to do this huge set piece. So I’m really excited about that.”
Details are scarce regarding the musical’s content, but Aguirre-Sacasa did confirm that Kiernan Shipka (Sabrina), Lucy Davis (Aunt Hilda), Miranda Otto (Aunt Zelda), Michelle Gomez (Madame Satan), Chance Perdomo (Ambrose), and Jaz Sinclair (Ros) will all be featured.

Part 2 finds Sabrina exploring her darker side, curious to learn more about her heritage, while struggling to maintain her friendships in the mortal world. Romantically, Sabrina is caught in an unholy love triangle with sexy warlock Nicholas Scratch and salt-of-the-Earth mortal Harvey Kinkle. Meanwhile, The Dark Lord, Madame Satan, and Father Blackwood continue to conjure chaos in the Spellman household and the town of Greendale. And they aren’t the only ones trying to raise hell. Everything is in question…relationships, identity, true intentions…when the devil’s work is at hand.
