Brad Pitt may reunite with Tom Cruise in racing film Go Like Hell
Brad Pitt spent centuries trying to escape Tom Cruise’s maniacal influence in Interview With The Vampire, only for Lestat to reappear again and again throughout history. Now it appears that it was all for naught: The immortal vampire lives on, and Pitt could be drawn in once more to co-star with Cruise for the first time since 1994. As was reported back in October, Cruise is reteaming with his Oblivion director Joseph Kosinski for the racing movie Go Like Hell, an adaptation of A.J. Baime’s book about the competition between Ford and Ferrari, which came to a head at the 1966 24 Hours Of LeMans race in France. Cruise is attached to play Ford car designer Carroll Shelby. Pitt was previously involved in the project, back when Michael Mann was set to direct in 2009, and seems to have continued interest in the material, despite the fact that Ron Howard's Rush already covered the whole "racing driver with long blonde hair versus shorter rival with a god complex" thing. Anyway, if Pitt does end up playing Enzo Ferrari, he’ll get to use that dynamite Italian accent again.
