Bradley Cooper to test his limits with recurring role on Limitless
Here’s your monthly reminder that the Limitless television show is happening. But there is a new development—we’ve now learned that Bradley Cooper, who starred in the original movie, will have a recurring role in the television series. Yep, The Coop is returning to primetime over a decade after the Will Tippin scream heard round the world.
Cooper was originally only supposed to guest star in the pilot—which will be directed by Marc Webb—as Eddie Mora, the protagonist of the original film, a writer who used the deadly drug NZT to unlock superhuman abilities. But Cooper, presumably after popping an NZT, said he could do more. Mora, who is now a U.S. Senator, will appear throughout the procedural-style series to guide his NZT protégé Brian Finch (Greek’s Jake McDorman). Limitless will air on CBS Tuesdays at 10 p.m. this fall.
