The never-ending Andy Cohen slumber party that is Bravo has kicked up another staple to go along with that still-hasn’t-been-convinced-to-kill-itself Heathers TV show: A small-screen version of Robert Zemeckis’ Death Becomes Her, where the director is currently signed on to executive produce the hour-long drama version of his 1992 film, and likely say, “Boy, you know, we could really do some amazing stuff with motion capture here..” every week or so. Anyway, Variety doesn’t indicate exactly why the home of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills suddenly took an interest in the story of two catty, competitive women desperately clinging to youth, undergoing increasingly tacky plastic surgery, and squabbling bitterly, other than the obvious.
