If you’ve had enough of the cruel, bickering ways of the human race, let the new trailer for Planet Earth II soothe you. Treat yourself to a couple of puffs of something or another, and take in the wondrous and weird world of our majestic home and—holy shit, is that a sloth taking a swim? What a delight. Viewers will once again be treated to the dulcet tones of David Attenborough as narrator in this BBC sequel to the beloved 2006 documentary/dorm room background noise. And if you should crave even more gorgeous imagery that will let you travel to distant locales from the comfort of your couch, Netflix is also prepping a similar series, Our Planet, with Planet Earth creators Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey. That’s scheduled to arrive in 2019. If you can’t wait that long, Terence Malick’s Voyage Of Time is in selected theaters now. Planet Earth II is “coming soon” according to the BBC.
