Brendan Dassey’s brother records Christian rap about the Making A Murderer case

About a month after its release, the Making A Murderer media train rolls on, though the latest news is a bit surprising. The Milwaukee Record reports that Brad Dassey, Brendan Dassey’s half-brother, has recorded a Christian rap song calling for his sibling’s release. In the track, “They Didn’t Do It,” Brad Dassey emphatically asserts that Brendan Dassey and Steven Avery didn’t do it, naturally, insisting that injustice was “slammed in the face of two innocent people.” Though Dassey’s flow and beats are, to be kind, pretty shitty, the track manages to make a lot of Murderer references in three minutes, including a shout-out to prosecutor Ken Kratz.
