Brian Wilson, Beach House, FKA Twigs top this year’s Pitchfork lineup
The lineup for the 2016 Pitchfork Music Festival has arrived, and with it the promise of warmer, potentially quite muddy days ahead in Chicago. As has become tradition for the festival, this year’s lineup strikes a balance between different genres and eras of music, with up-and-comers sharing the stage with bona fide legends. Speaking of the latter—one of the more notable additions to this year’s festival is Brian Wilson performing Pet Sounds in its entirety, an artist no one thought they would ever see live again performing an album no one thought would ever get finished.
A schedule for the festival has yet to be announced, but three-day individual day passes are on sale now, and a full list of artists to play “spot the headliner” is below. If past years are any indication, a few more artists should be added to the fest’s lineup as the date approaches.
