Brickleberry is dead

Stop all the rape jokes, cut off the foul-mouthed bear,
Prevent Daniel Tosh from barking with sardonic air,
Silence the theme song and with muffled curse
Bring out the coffin, let the cast no more rehearse.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message, Brickleberry Is Dead.

Comedy Central has chosen not to renew the Tosh-starring animated sitcom for a fourth season, thus ending the saga of Brickleberry National Park and its ragtag team of incompetent, foul-mouthed park rangers. The 33 extant episodes will have to stand, like columns in the sand, as a testament to executive producers Tosh, Waco O’Guin, and Roger Black’s dreams of a world where 18 – 34-year old males laughed and laughed and laughed at the image of an adorable bear cub harvesting a man’s organs for profits.

Brickleberry is survived by The Brickleberry Wiki, whose 117 articles will have to carry the show’s racist, sexist, Family Guy-aping torch, and whose “Countdown To Next Episode: Fall 2015, sadly” sidebar now evokes not hope, but the bitterest of dramatic ironies.
