Bristol Palin to become Hollywood-type starlet, play most famous teen mom in America on Secret Life Of The American Teenager
Sarah Palin, leave your kids alone. Don't you know your children are off limits? They shouldn’t be a part of politics. They have no relevance to your performance as a political celebrity. But I guess Bristol isn’t much of a child anymore, is she, being a mom and all? An L.A. Times blog reports: “The most famous teen mother in America,” and all of 19, Bristol Palin is set to guest star on ABC Family’s The Secret Life Of The American Teenager as herself. The show, which centers on the stress of being a teen mom going through high school, stars Shailene Woodley as Amy, as well as former teen movie princess Molly Ringwald as Amy’s mother, who, like Sarah Palin, is a 40-something grandmother. According to the report, Bristol Palin will play Amy’s gal pal at a special music program for teen mothers. Bristol, who will shoot her scenes in Los Angeles this summer, said, “I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy.” No word on whether Tripp Palin will put in a cameo.
