Broad City renewed for a second season
Comedy Central has renewed Broad City for a second season. The Amy Poehler-produced, Greenpoint-set series starring Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer will get another 10 episodes that will presumably start airing sometime late in 2014 or early in 2015. Broad City currently averages about 1.2 million viewers per episode, making it Comedy Central’s highest-rated new show since 2012. It’s especially popular among the younger demographics, like adults and men 18-34, something that advertisers love as much as a good “I keep my weed in my vagina” joke.
This March, Jacobson and Glazer are about to embark on an 18-city comedy tour, dates for which are below.
