Brooklyn Sudano joins the cast of 11/22/63, at least in this timeline
Now that Hulu’s nine-part adaptation of Stephen King’s 11/22/63 has secured a director, the mysterious cabal behind the project has resumed its mission of casting appropriate actors for all the roles—as far as we know, anyway, given our limited perspective in this timeline. If Deadline is a part of this conspiracy, it’s not telling: the entertainment news site reports that Brooklyn Sudano has joined the cast of the series, bringing the total number of 11/22/63 actors sharing the same name as boroughs of New York City to one.
Sudano will be playing the role of Christy, the “grounded and beautiful ex-wife” to James Franco’s Jake Epping. As previously reported, the plot involves Epping discovering a portal that allows him to travel back in time in order to prevent the assassination of JFK, and hopefully the invention of Circus Peanuts. Sudano got her start on the Damon Wayans show My Wife And Kids, and most recently starred in the Lifetime movie With This Ring, both good arguments for the use of time travel to change the past in and of themselves.
