Buckle up for the first trailer for NOS4A2, AMC's car-driving vampire show
When you see something billed as a “TV show about a vampire who owns a car,” it’s hard not to picture it being, well, silly. Then, when you see that it’s called NOS4A2 as a gag on vanity license plates and Nosferatu, it all becomes even sillier. As it turns out, though, this trailer for AMC’s adaptation of Joe Hill’s NOS4A2 novel is definitely not silly. Well, Zachary Quinto in his old man vampire makeup, the idea of a the villain kidnapping children and imprisoning them in a place called Christmasland, and the spooky voice at the end instructing you on how to pronounce the title are all a little weird, but none of it seems as silly as you might’ve imagined. The series stars Ashleigh Cummings as a girl with mystical powers and a motorcycle, making her the perfect person to fight a vampire with a car.
NOS4A2 will premiere immediately after Fear The Walking Dead’s fifth season on June 2 on AMC.
