Cameron Crowe also wants John Krasinski for his next movie

In an effort to convey the dramatic stakes inherent in a quirky weapons satellite upending the world’s entire life by destroying it, Cameron Crowe continues to cast lots of famous people in his film about that, so you’ll go, “Hey, don’t destroy the Earth! That’s where all the famous people are!” You can add John Krasinski to that list, as The Hollywood Reporter says he’s in talks to join Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, Bill Murray, Alec Baldwin, Danny McBride, and Jay Baruchel in the increasingly stuffed film, about a defense contractor (Cooper) who has a meet-cute-and-also-in-potentially-apocalyptic-danger with an Air Force pilot (Stone). Krasinksi would reportedly play the “military man” husband to McAdams, who’s also Cooper’s ex-wife, thus giving Krasinski even more reason to smirk in Cooper’s direction when he tries to scuttle the satellite’s launch.
