Camp Firewood must be saved in first Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later trailer
In the first trailer for Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, the counselors of Camp Firewood have maintained their promise to one another and have left their high-powered and/or bartending jobs to return to the place where they had their formative experiences. But, crisis is afoot: Janeane Garofalo‘s Beth is apparently going to sell the camp. So folks like Katie (Marguerite Moreau) and Andy (Paul Rudd)—the latter of whom now sports a grunge goatee—are trying to help save it. (“We could do more,” Andy suggests. “Like with our tongues and butts.“) Any Wet Hot fan knows, however, that the project is not exactly about plot, and there are so many little goodies buried within this first look that frankly we recommend multiple viewings. (Gene may have a daughter! Mitch lives, though he’s still trapped in a can!) Most of the cast from the original movie is back, as well as some of the newcomers from the prequel series like Lake Bell, Kristen Wiig, Chris Pine, and John Early. Episodes arrive August 4 on Netflix.
