The third season premiere of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. finally debuted, and the results were something less than fully superheroic. Oliver Sava and Alex McCown break down the episode, looking at the thrilling action the show got right, and the clunky exposition it got so very wrong. Sure, there was a monstrous blue villain, and a cool Inhuman prison cell that flew into the air, but was it enough to overcome Mack’s dour demeanor? Oliver and Alex are hopeful for the future, though Oliver might need some coaxing.
