Back in June, The A.V. Club was barraged with e-mails about Necomimi's Brainwave Cat Ears, which are basically cosplay accessories that purport to read both brainwaves and moods. Whether or not that's true, we had to have them, and thus, five months later, actually managed to get our grubby little hands on a pair. Behold the magic.
