Syfy has renewed the supernatural thriller Bitten for a third season, Deadline reports. The series, based on Kelley Armstrong’s Women Of The Otherworld novels, centers on Elena Michaels (Laura Vandervoort), the world’s only lady werewolf in a sea of dude-wolves. The first season focused on Elena’s relationship with Philip (Paul Greene), a (gasp) human, and how their relationship forces her to split her time between her normal life with her human boyfriend and her wolf life with her pack. Clayton (Greyston Holt), her ex-fiancee, is a member of that pack. Yep, even werewolves have ex drama.
Production begins on Bitten’s third season this summer in Toronto. Daegan Fryklind will continue as showrunner, and the third season will have 10 episodes.
