Candlebox is back, marks the official exhaustion point of the '90s revival
Well, the '90s music revival was fun while it lasted: Now the grunge-rock also-ran Candlebox is launching a comeback, with a new album and a North American tour. The band's fourth full-length LP, Love Stories & Other Musings, will drop on April 3. “I haven’t felt this way about a release from Candlebox since our first record,” says guitarist Peter Klett. (Lest we forget, the band’s ’93 self-titled debut did somehow go quadruple platinum.) “The feeling for this record is both refreshing and stimulating. I can’t be more excited to release this music to the fans who have been with us for so long.”
