Jim Carrey–who, after last year's The Number 23, badly needs another palate-cleansing, cred-building film like Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind–is hitching up with rising indie director Jason "Juno" Reitman for the comedy Pierre Pierre. According to Hollywood Reporter, the "politically incorrect" story will deal with "racism, sexism and Europeans," and will center on "a self-indulgent French nihilist (Carrey) who is entrusted to transport a stolen Mona Lisa and in the process falls back in love with his homeland." Uh, is this gonna do the trick?
