Carrie-Anne Moss to play No-Nonsense Woman on Netflix’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones
A.K.A. Jessica Jones, one of Netflix’s upcoming Marvel shows, has been doing a pretty serious job of filling out its supporting cast lately. We learned back in December that Krysten Ritter would be starring as the person who is also known as Jessica Jones and that The Good Wife’s Mike Colter would be popping up as the guy who used to be known as Power Man, but last week we also found out that David Tennant will be playing The Purple Man and Rachael Taylor will be playing Hellcat.
Now, Variety is reporting that Carrie-Anne Moss is joining the streaming series as “a no-nonsense woman who could be a powerful ally to Jessica,” assuming that the two of them can get along. Unless she’s a superhero named No-Nonsense Woman, though, that’s all we know about Moss’ character. Given the fact that this is a comic book adaptation, this could mean that she’s a super exciting person from the comics that Marvel doesn’t want to spoil, or she’s a boring original character that nobody would care about anyway. As always, we’ll hope it’s the former, even if we know it’s probably the latter. Either way, Jessica Jones will hit Netflix at some point this year.
