Casey Kasem has been found. The 82-year-old DJ, reported missing earlier this week, has turned up along with his wife in Washington State, as suspected. Kasem’s wife Jean claims the pair were just on “vacation”—an impromptu vacation the two took after she removed Kasem from his nursing home, where he was suffering from debilitating complications (including being unable to speak) from his advanced Parkinson’s disease.
Kasem’s children say they’re now going to try to bring their father home to California, reiterating that they have “grave concerns” about his current medical care. However, Washington State officials say they’re confident that Kasem is not in distress and that he is receiving appropriate care while in their state.
