Last year Philadelphia’s The Spirit Of The Beehive released its debut LP, which dealt in dense psych-rock that had a punk’s heart and poppy mindset. This summer the band will release its follow-up, You Are Arrived (But You’ve Been Cheated), on both Ice Age and Ranch Records, the labels that released its previous effort. The EP delves further into the darkness that the band teased on its debut, but it never obscures the hooks that made its past work so memorable. The A.V. Club is streaming all of You Are Arrived (But You’ve Been Cheated) below, and pre-orders for the record are available through both Ice Age and Ranch Records, respectively.
