Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki has sold a new show to CBS about living one’s life according to the Bible. Variety reports that CBS has ordered a pilot for the Galecki-produced TV adaptation of A.J. Jacobs‘ book The Year Of Living Biblically. The book followed Jacobs’ life as he tried to live his life by every rule printed in the Good Book, from not coveting stuff, to avoiding shellfish, to “stoning” adulterers with a pebble.
Living Biblically has yet to cast its Jacobs stand-in, or the various people in his day-to-day life who will be paid to roll their eyes at his self-imposed quest. 2 Broke Girls writer Patrick Walsh will pen the script, executive producing alongside Galecki.
