Way back in August, we reported that CBS All Access was developing a new Star Trek spin-off show that would follow iconic Enterprise Captain Jean-Luc Picard in whatever adventures he had after the conclusion of Star Trek: The Next Generation, with Patrick Stewart reprising the role and teasing that he would “explore new dimensions within” the character. Now, CBS is finally sharing some new information about the show, revealing its name and a logo on Twitter, but if you’re expecting something… unexpected, you may be disappointed:

Yes, the show is just called Star Trek: Picard, which seems pretty obvious, and the logo is just Picard with the Starfleet symbol in place of the letter A in his name. Not particularly thrilling, but this is Star Trek we’re talking about, not some cool space stuff like Star Wars (just kidding, please don’t say mean things in the comments). Star Trek: Picard will also star Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, and Isa Briones, and /Film says it will be set 18 years after Picard’s last appearance in Star Trek: Nemesis and that will involve the destruction of the planet Romulus—as seen in the 2009 Star Trek reboot.
