CBS puts on its own Making A Murderer in this trailer for The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey

As we reported back in April, CBS is getting in on the trend of documentary shows about real-life murders with The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey. However, unlike the way that most documentaries just present the facts and tell the story as it happened, CBS is going to try and pull a The Jinx by actively working to uncover new clues about the death of JonBenét Ramsey. As laid out in this teaser, the network is doing that by enlisting the help of a bunch of different experts and conducting new interviews with witnesses who may or may not know things that—for whatever reason—they didn’t tell investigators back in the ‘90s when Ramsey was originally found dead. Also, in what is one of the most weirdly unsettling decisions out of any of these murder shows, The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey will be creating a perfect replica of the Ramsey family home so the investigators can visualize the different ways the murder could’ve happened.

The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey will premiere on September 18 and continue in two-hour chunks on September 19 and September 25.
