CBS has renewed its top-rated hit series The Big Bang Theory for another three years’ of geek-culture-related merriment, promising a run that extends through the 2013-2014 season. In making the announcement, CBS president Nina Tassler said, “It doesn’t take a theoretical physicist to see why this show is a BIG part of our comedy future” without an iota of embarrassment.
