Cee Lo Green used to be a great rapper, before he got swallowed by Danger Mouse and turned into a frog-voiced, studiedly eccentric reality star who occasionally tweets very bad takes on sexual consent. As we reported last night, he showed up at the Grammys dressed like an asshole, apparently as part of an unveiling of his new persona named Gnarly Davidson. What is it? Could it be a new concept album, Netflix exclusive cartoon, mobile game, emoji set, or step toward a breakdown? Perhaps all of the above? The look is extremely “kid whose parents bought him the most expensive costume at the Halloween store and he got very into the character.” He walked around shaking the cameras and speaking in character and doing weird hulk poses. He is not cool.
Appropriately enough, he also spent the night getting roasted for it.
