Celebrate Missy Elliott’s career with a pretty sweet dance tribute

Alyson Stoner, one of the little girls who tore up Missy Elliott’s “Work It” video, has never really disappeared from the public eye. She’s appeared in several Step Up movies as “Camille,” does voices for both Phineas And Ferb and The Legend Of Korra, and was a regular on The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody. And yet she’s still popping up in the news this week because, as The Daily Dot headlined its story, “The little girl from Missy Elliott’s “Work It” video made an amazing tribute.” In the clip below, Stoner gets together with actual kids and some ex-kids who also appeared in Elliott’s clip to pay tribute to the sadly under-appreciated performer. It’s pretty sweet until Stoner decides to drop in some of her own original tunes, but there’s plenty for Elliott fans—or hip-hop dance fans—to love before then.
