Centro-matic aims to beat the odds with “Salty Disciple”
Centro-matic’s new record, Take Pride In Your Long Odds, is the band’s latest in its 17 year career. Out June 3 via Navigational Transmissions/Thirty Tigers, Take Pride is emblematic of the veteran act’s acknowledgement that it’s no longer fresh or new, but that there’s still a chance that the gang could really make this thing a success. Below, A.V. Club readers can check out the clip for “Salty Disciple,” one of the record’s singles. It’s a noisy and sprawling song, but one that still maintains that signature Centro-matic sound.
Centro-matic are on tour for the next couple of weeks, and dates are below. Fans can pre-order Take Pride In Your Long Odds via PledgeMusic.
