Chance The Rapper cancels European tour

For the second time in a year, Chance The Rapper has suddenly canceled a series of European tour dates for a vague reason. This comes from Consequence Of Sound, which reports that Chance backed out of shows in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Belgium that were scheduled for early in August. Apparently, Chance’s cancellations are because of “scheduling conflicts” that are “beyond his control,” but other than a brief statement apologizing to his European fans, that’s pretty much the only information he’s offered.

Consequence Of Sound theorizes that he’s working on a new album, but his last show before the August European trek was in the middle of June, so it would seem odd for him to cancel a small number of dates for something like that when he already had more than a month off from touring. Last year, Chance had to cancel three shows in Ireland and the U.K. for “personal reasons.” The canceled dates for this tour are below.

Canceled Chance The Rapper 2017 Tour Dates

8/8—Oya Festival—Oslo, NO

8/10—Way Out West Festival—Gothenburg, SE

8/11—Haven—Copenhagen, DK
