Chance The Rapper is holding a music fest on Chicago’s South Side

Chance The Rapper, Chicago’s new favorite son, has announced that he’ll be putting on his very own music festival on the city’s South Side called Magnificent Coloring Day. That comes from the Chicago Tribune, which says Chance will be joined by Skrillex, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Tyler The Creator, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, and some unnamed “special guests.”

Magnificent Coloring Day is being held on September 24 at U.S. Cellular Field, and Chance is billing it as the “first ever music festival at U.S. Cellular Field on Chicago’s South Side.” That’s probably accurate, since Disco Demolition—which was sort of a music festival—was held at old Comiskey Park before it was torn down. Also, for anyone who isn’t familiar with it, U.S. Cellular Field is the baseball stadium in Chicago that isn’t covered in weeds, has places for fans to park, and actually housed a World Series-winning team within the last 100 years.

Tickets will be available on Friday, but Chicago White Sox fans who signed up for the team’s email newsletter before today will be able to access the special pre-sale on Wednesday.

There’s more information at Chance’s official site.
