Chance The Rapper leads latest wave of Grammy performers

CBS has been been slowly unveiling the artists that will take the stage during the Grammys ceremony, and today the network revealed that Chance The Rapper has joined the lineup. Chance got seven Grammy nods, and celebrated today’s announcement on Twitter.

He previously said he’s trying to do every song from his nominated album Coloring Book on television once. (Since Coloring Book is only available via streaming, a rule change last year allowed it to be included in the competition.) Perhaps he’ll once again solicit suggestions as to which one he chooses for the Grammys. CBS also announced that Little Big Town, William Bell, Gary Clark Jr., and Album Of The Year nominee Sturgill Simpson will also perform, and that’s in addition to the likes of Daft Punk, The Weeknd, Adele, John Legend, Metallica, A Tribe Called Quest, and Dave Grohl. James Corden is set to host the February 12 show.
