Chance The Rapper releases new single "Groceries"
The Chicago staple Chance The Rapper has released a new single with Houston rap artist TisaKorean and Murda Beatz called “Groceries.” Prior to its release, he shared a fun homemade teaser via Twitter, which he made with the clip-sharing app Triller. You can listen to the easy bass-bumper below.
Earlier this year Chance announced a new forthcoming album, which is set to drop in July. In a recent chat with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, he explained that the new collection was inspired by his wedding day:
“The whole album has been inspired by the day that I got married and how I was dancing that day. We had a reception with the legendary DJ Pharris. And we all danced our hearts out.”
The new project follows his highly celebrated 2016 album Coloring Book, which was the last official album of his discography. Since then he has released a number of mixtapes, including a Christmas collaboration with R&B artist Jeremih, which they shared on SoundCloud.
