Chance The Rapper to stream his Magnificent Coloring Day festival on Tidal

For anyone who didn’t get tickets to Chance The Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring Day festival in Chicago this Saturday, Stereogum is reporting that the whole thing will be streamed on Tidal. This will be one of the streaming service’s first big events since Kanye West’s “Yeezy Season 4” fashion show introduced the world to the latest advances in tall boots and triangular runways, and though Magnificent Coloring Day won’t include Kanye West (as far as we know), it will feature Skrillex, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Tyler The Creator, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, and Chance himself.

Magnificent Coloring Day is being held at U.S. Cellular Field on Chicago’s South Side, which is usually home to an obscure baseball team known as the Chicago White Sox. Barring some kind of miracle (like every other team in the division getting taken out by the super-flu from The Stand), the Sox probably aren’t going to make it to the post-season, which means Chance’s festival will sort of be like the last hurrah for U.S. Cellular Field before it changes its name to Guaranteed Rate Field in November. Actually, if everybody at the fest can pitch in a couple of bucks, maybe they’ll be able to raise enough money to buy back the naming rights and call it Chance Field instead. Or maybe Chance The Baseball Stadium, so nobody gets it confused with Chance The Rapper.

Anyway, Magnificent Coloring Day will stream on Tidal this Saturday, and you’ll need to have a Tidal subscription in order to see it.
