Ian MacKaye must have a lot of storage space. The punk legend just unearthed a faded letter Dave Grohl sent him in the early ’80s requesting help regarding something relating to “good thrash.” Grohl only posted the back of the letter to the Foo Fighters’ Twitter page, but it’s still pretty cute, with Grohl providing both his phone number and a window of time—3 p.m. to 10 p.m.—to get ahold of him, assuming his sister wasn’t tying up the line.
