Check out a supercut of film characters checking out their refrigerators

What do 127 Hours, The Resident, Captivity, Bridget Jones’s Diary, The Nanny Diaries, Little Manhattan, LOL, Ghostbusters, Firehouse Dog, Flight, The Clink Of Ice (Le Bruit Des Glaçons), Fight Club, TRON: Legacy, A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, Secretary, 1408, Trouble With The Curve, Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, The Incredible Hulk, The Fifth Element, Taken 3, The Jacket, Mission: Impossible III, The Voices, Mrs. Doubtfire, and X2: X-Men United have in common?

Well, they all, at some point, feature a scene where a character looks for something in a refrigerator. The back-of-the-refrigerator point-of-view shot is ubiquitous across genres of film. You know the one: A character opens up the fridge, looks around a bit, and makes their selection.

Film montage maker Roman Holiday recently made In The Fridge, a tribute to the fridge scene that packs all of the above 26 films into a one-and-a-half-minute-long supercut. Fridge openers include Ryan Reynolds, Hilary Swank, Daniel Gillies, Scarlett Johansson, Denzel Washington, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Roman Holiday also has a series of montage videos that pull every close-up shot from movies like The Matrix, Memento, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, but they aren’t nearly as appetizing or product heavy as the fridge vid.
