The Criterion Collection of high-end arthouse video releases has long been the subject of intense geek fascination. This is especially true of the elegant, sometimes abstract covers of its DVDs and Blu-ray discs, beautifully designed compositions that smartly and artfully re-contextualize some of the greatest and most beloved films ever made. Now the Criterion obsessive behind the Made Up Stories Tumblr account has combined this geek obsession with another geek obsession—the popular app Draw Something—to create an impressive gallery that illustrates what Criterion titles look like when made with Draw Something.
