Check out the new Where The Wild Things Are trailer

After a string of reports that painted Spike Jonze's big-screen adaptation of Maurice Sendak's children's classic Where The Wild Things Are as a troubled production, doomed to failure, the buzz surrounding the movie had a dramatic turnaround earlier this year when a full length trailer—buoyed by an Arcade Fire soundtrack and some hauntingly beautiful images of a child at play—caused every parent, nostalgist, and indie-rock fan who viewed it to well up on cue. Now the second trailer's been released, featuring more dialogue from the movie and a clearer sense that it's going to be about the division between fantasy and reality for a child who doesn't want to grow up. If the first trailer slayed you, don't expect to be unmoved by this one either:
