Check out this exclusive animated trailer for Colin Meloy's children's book, produced by the Coraline people

Remember a few days ago when we told you about the new children's book written by Decemberists frontman Colin Meloy and illustrated by his life-partner-in-crime Carson Ellis? You can click that other Newswire post to get all the details (and there are many), but before you do, check out this cool animated trailer for the book (which comes out August 30). It was produced by the animation studio Laika, who also happen to be the minds behind Coraline. So cool credentials and all that. Since you've read this far, I'll also tell you that The Decemberists came by The A.V. Club yesterday. You know what that means, right?
