Chicago, become one of Us early and for free

Jordan Peele’s Us is one of our most anticipated films of 2019, and for good reason: Although Peele’s been putting his name on everything from the YouTube sci-fi comedy series Weird City to Amazon’s wrenching Lorena docuseries as an executive producer, Us is his first proper followup as a writer-director to his Oscar-winning instant classic Get Out. The theme this time around is family: Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke star as a married couple whose beach vacation with their kids turns into a terrifying ordeal after they’re confronted by an insanely creepy, eyebrow-less family of doppelgängers like the one in the unsettling poster for the film above.

If you live in Chicago and are itching to see Us early (and for free!), then you’re in luck: We’re sponsoring an advance screening of the film on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 pm at our usual spot at the AMC River East in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. To enter to win one of 50 admit-two passes to the screening, just follow this link and enter some basic information. Just be sure to arrive early, as you never know when a murderous doppelgänger will steal your seat.
