Chicago, fight for your rights and see the Ruth Bader Ginsburg doc RBG early and for free

RBG, the new documentary from filmmakers Betsy West and Julie Cohen, is aiming to be the definitive work on the life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. To do that, it uses interviews with Ginsburg, people who know her, and people who have been inspired by her to chronicle how she went from the daughter of Russian Jewish immigrants in Brooklyn to a Supreme Court Justice, bonafide pop-culture icon, and hero of women’s rights. Also, as highlighted in the documentary’s trailer, she happens to be a pretty hardcore badass.

The documentary will premiere in select theaters on May 4, but The A.V. Club is giving a few lucky readers in Chicago a chance to see RBG for free at an early screening on April 25. The screening will be held at the Landmark Century Centre Cinema, and all you have to do to get passes is fill out your information at this link. Just remember: Advance screenings are often intentionally overbooked, so be sure to arrive early if you want to secure a seat.
