Chicago, follow the Man in Black to The Dark Tower early and for free

The film adaptation of Stephen King’s sprawling The Dark Tower series that’s been 10 years in the making is finally almost here, abbreviated 95-minute running time and all. And whether you’re a fan who’s dying to know how the movie differs from the books or are just curious about the final product of this long and tortured road to the big screen, we’ve got your chance to find out for free—if you live in Chicago, that is.

We’re giving away passes to an advance screening of the film coming up later this week on Wednesday, August 2 at the AMC River East (322 E. Illinois St.), and to claim yours, all you have to do is follow this link and click “Get My Passes.” Seems easier than chasing your eternal nemesis across time and space in an attempt to stop him from destroying the universe, right? There’s just one catch: Advance screenings are often intentionally overbooked, and seats will be first come, first served, so you’ll have to get there early to ensure you get a spot.

You can see the trailer and poster for The Dark Tower below.
