Chicago, grab some singles: See Magic Mike XXL early and for free

In 2012, cinematic chameleon Steven Soderbergh surprised everyone when his film Magic Mike was more than (well-oiled) skin deep. This summer, the stripper-with-a-heart-of-gold movie gets a sequel in the form of Magic Mike XXL, but will audiences still be interested without Soderbergh at the reigns? The answer, of course, is “Hell yes!” Channing Tatum, Joe Mangianello, and Matt Bomer return to shake any and all parts of their body, this time joined by Donald Glover, Jada Pinkett Smith, Elizabeth Banks, and Michael Strahan for an added dose of eye candy. Magic Mike XXL opens nationwide on July 1, but The A.V. Club and Warner Bros. Pictures have an opportunity for you to see it for free on June 25. For your chance to win a pair of passes to the advance screening, simply follow the link here and enter your information. As always, seats will be first come, first served, so be sure to arrive early. An official plot synopsis and trailer for the film can be found below.

“Picking up the story three years after Mike (Channing Tatum) bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, Magic Mike XXL finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.”
