Chicago: Let Supper Club feed you free bacon at the Logan Square Food Truck Social
Here at Supper Club, our M.O. is hospitality. If you’re in our homes, we’ll throw food on the grill and pour cocktails and play records and not kick you out. So to celebrate the launch of our new food section, The A.V. Club is throwing a house party—and we’d like to feed and entertain you.
If you live in Chicago or in town the weekend of Oct. 15-16, stop by the Logan Square Food Truck Social. We’ll have two dozen of Chicago’s finest food trucks offering their food, with live music curated by Empty Bottle Presents and beer from Revolution Brewing. There’s a $5 suggested donation that goes toward Yates Elementary School, La Casa Norte/Northwest Food Partners Network, and the Illinois Food Truck Owners Association.
In addition to food for purchase from all these great trucks, we’ve enlisted some of our favorite Chicago chefs to create bacon-themed dishes for you to sample—on the house. We’ll announce those names in the coming weeks. (First come, first served; hat tip to Hormel Black Label Bacon, who is sponsoring the event by donating all the bacon you’ll be tasting.)
Free bacon and music, a few dozen food trucks and beer on an autumn Chicago day. We’d love to hang out.
