Chicago, risk being eternally cursed by seeing Ouija: Origin Of Evil early and for free
Playing with a real-life Ouija board is just a good way to get yourself recklessly cursed by some evil spirit, but thankfully, the Ouija movies are far less likely to damn your soul and freak out your family. Ouija: Origin Of Evil—the second film based on Hasbro’s most terrifying board game—is still looking pretty spooky despite its relative lack of danger, and The A.V. Club is giving a few lucky readers a chance to tempt fate by seeing the movie for themselves at an early screening before it gets a wide release on October 21.
The screening will be held on October 18 at Chicago’s Showplace ICON theater, and all you have to do to get a pair of tickets is gently place your fingertips on your mouse or phone screen and let the spirits guide you toward this link. Remember: Advance screenings are often intentionally overbooked, so be sure to arrive early if you want to secure a seat.
